Bowen’s
Bowen’s Disease is another form of skin disease which can be caused due to damage through sun’s rays, elements like arsenic, infection, and suppression of immune by diseases like AIDS. This disorder was first described by Dr. John T. Bowen in 1912. This disease is characterized by plaque on the skin surface, surface crusting and scaling of skins. This disease generally occurs in people of age more than 30 years and more frequently in females. Patients get lesion on lower portion of the body like thighs and legs. There is a therapy known as photodynamic therapy and cryotherapy which are favored for the treatment of this disease.
